Ancona School's 4th Annual Diversity Symposium on May 14

This year, the Ancona School's Diversity Symposium will explore the concept of privilege within the context of parenting and teaching. The workshops will challenge misconceptions, provide interpretations and offer practical context for participants surrounding social inequalities in schools, teaching materials, and among students.

After a welcome coffee reception, the day will include a keynote, breakout sessions and lunch followed by a film screening of the White People, the groundbreaking documentary on race, followed by Q & A. Ancona welcomes educators, parents, school leadership and community members interested in multicultural education. Registration is now open. 

The symposium goes from 8:30am-4:00pm; Ancona School is located at 4770 S. Dorchester.
