The University of Chicago is offering free ice skating lessons on the Midway on Tuesdays (1/31, 2/7, 2/14) from 5:30-6:30pm. The first 25 people to register will also have their admission fee and skate rental fee waived.

Next HPKCAC meeting to be held at 6pm on January 25 at Kenwood HS
The next meeting of the Hyde Park-Kenwood Community Action Council will take place on Wednesday, January 25 at 6pm at Kenwood HS. We will meet in the King Room on the second floor.

Event for children with special needs on January 28 in Northbrook
Chicago Parent magazine is hosting an event for children with special needs on Saturday, January 28, 2017, at the JCC (300 Revere Drive) in Northbrook, IL. There are two available sessions to choose from: 10am-12:30pm and 1pm-3:30pm.
There will be fun activities for the whole family -- swimming, bouncy house, quiet room, entertainment stage.
Tickets are $5 each for children 3 and up.
